Hyderabad, January 21: As we know that Telangana Chief Minister was very particular about the formalities and culture of Telangana, earlier he was already conducted many Pooja programs and Chandi Yagas, recently he was decided to conduct a five day long Chandi Yagam starting from Monday till January 25.

300 Vedic pundits from different states including Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka will participate, which will be conducted at Erravalli village.

Ayutha Chandi Yagam was held by Chief Minister KCR in December 2015, which was also thronged by a large number of people and priests from various states. The Ayutha Chandi Maha Yagam in 2015 had seen the participation of 1,100 priests, reportedly chanting prayers some 10,000 times.

KCR has invited all the TRS MLAs, MLCs, MPs and ZP chairperson for the Yagam.

During the run-up to Telangana assembly elections in December, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had made sarcastic remarks about KCR s religious beliefs and practices.
