'Yaatra' director skips the character of Jagan

Hyderabad, January 19: The biopic of Andhra Pradesh late Chief Minister Ys Rajashekhar Reddy is all set to hit the screens on February 7th. Now the team of Yaatra is busy with the promotions. The pre-release event is scheduled to be held on February 1st. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will be invited to the event as Chief Guest.

Mammutty representing the role of YSR in this film. The film also features many actors like Anasuya Bharadwaj, Posani Krishna Murali, Vinod Kumar and Sachin Khedekar in supporting roles.

Now the latest news is the director had decided to exclude YSR’s son Jagan Mohan Reddy’s character in the film. Sources say that the director doesn’t want to deviate from concentrating on the famous Pada Yatra due to which he decided to remove Jegan’s character as it may shift the focus. The film is produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under the banner 70 MM Pictures
