YS Jagan sensational comments on Federal Front

Andhra Pradesh, January 13: Many speculations are circulating about the merge of YSR Congress in KCR federal front. In that case, what could be a first indication from YSR Congress about their interest in Telangana CM K. Chandrasekhar Rao s Federal Front, YSR Congress party Chief Y.S. Jaganmohan Reddy has made sensational statements on his enthusiasm to partner with KCR.

"KCR is not even from our state. Yet, he came forward and he said he will support Special Category Status for AP and if need be, will write a letter to the Prime Minister s Office. You see…he s not from our state but he has shown interest in our state and it is worth appreciating," he said, speaking to a national media channel. Adding to this, he said: "If 25 MPs from Andhra Pradesh and 17 MPs from Telangana join hands, we become 42 MPs., which is a much bigger force And, we cannot be ignored by anyone willing to be a Prime-Minister candidate for this country. Whoever wants to be the PM-candidate, there will be much pressure on him to seek the support of our 42MPs."

Also, he said that how he would seek the help of MIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi s to campaign for YSR Congress in Andhra Pradesh. "If Asad is planning to come to AP and campaign for us, I will be honored to have him. He is a very good friend of mine," he added.

If we go through his comments, it seems like, after all, KCR could interfere in Andhra Pradesh s elections as TRS has already announced. Given that the Federal Front will be a non-Congress, non-BJP front looks like KCR is trying to win opponents of his neighboring state first as it will benefit both YSR Congress and TRS mutually.
