Congress responds on the defeat of the alliance

Hyderabad, January 13: After the defeat in Telangana Assembly polls of 2018, many Telangana Congress leader started attributing the reason for this failure to the alliances. Earlier, Congress leaders like Gandra, Komati Reddy Venkat Reddy, Sarve Sathyanarayana responded on the failure of Congress party in the elections. Now another popular Congress leader Komati Reddy Rajagopal Reddy responded on the failure and he also blamed the alliance.

He didn t blame directly on Chandrababu or leaders of other political parties for the defeat, but he told that because of this alliance impact, the delay caused in announcing the candidates. He also said that Congress party gave seats to the allies even though they didn’t have strong candidates. At last, he gave a statement that he would have won 100 seats in the state if PCC chief post had been given to him.

It seems like Congress leaders want to put the blame on their allies and divert people’s attention from the mistakes of their own party. Now yet to see that how the Congress party will perform in upcoming Panchayat elections and Lok Sabha elections without such alliances.
