MS Dhoni Completes 10k Runs in ODI

New Delhi, January 12: Former Indian Skipper MS Dhoni has become the fifth batsmen to score 10000 runs for India in One Day Internationals (ODI). Dhoni completed the landmark when he flicked the ball from his pads to take a single on the last ball of the sixth over.

Dhoni achieved the feat in 282 innings and at an average of more than 50. He has scored 10 hundred and 67 fifties for India. Only Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly and Rahul Dravid have scored more than 10000 runs for the country in ODIs before Dhoni.

It is known that, MS Dhoni has returned to the Indian team for the ODI series in Australia after sitting out T20I series against West Indies and Australia.
