Kodi Kathi case speed up by NIA

Amaravati, January 11: As we know that Jagan's Kodi Katthi case was handled by National Investigation Agency(NIA), NIA officials had filed a memo in the special court that has been looking after all the NIA cases in Vijayawada on Monday seeking the investigation files from the city police.

The main accused in the case Srinivasa Rao was in judicial custody in Vishakapatnam jail.

Now NIA speed up this case, on Thursday night, the accused Srinivas Rao is taken into the NIA s custody and is shifted from Vizag to Visakhapatnam, he will be produced before the third metropolitan magistrate before probing the case further.

The NIA has registered a case based on a complaint by CISF commando on January 4th, the NIA officials are proceeding in the case as per the directions of the court. They are ordered by the court to take the accused into their custody, the NIA also filed a petition seeking the evidence from the Andrha police.

In this occasion, the Andra Pradesh Government has approached the High Court vacation bench over NIA taking the case. A petition has been filed by the AP government objecting NIA s involvement.
