TRS confidence on Panchayat Elections

Hyderabad, January 11: TRS won by a majority in Assembly Elections in Telangana and may continue the same race in Panchayat Elections too. The Nominations for first phase elections are finished with 4,480 sarpanch seats and 39,832 ward members on Wednesday, the first phase elections will be held on the 21st of this month.

Of these, 334 sarpanch seats have been nominated for the single nomination, among this 291 candidates are TRS, it is noteworthy that there are those who are strengthened.

Congress cadre is contesting in 8 Panchayats, the new democratic are in 3 Panchayats, CPI, BJP is contesting in each 1 Panchayat. Nominations have been nominated and announced the list of eligible candidates for the competition by Election Commission.

Second phase election Nominations started today and will continue up to 13th of this month, the list of eligible candidates is announced on 14th. The second phase elections will be held on 25th of this month
