Big Blow to BJP Party in AP

Amaravati, January 10: Ahead of 2019 General Election, the BJP cadre in Andhra Pradesh received a setback as Rajahmundry Urban MLA Akula Satyanarayana has quit BJP. He is likely to join Pawan Kalyan s Janasena very soon.

He is likely to submit his resignation letter to party national president Amit Shah in New Delhi. His wife Akula Padmavathi is already in Jana Sena and she has been actively participating in the party activities in the district. It is learned that Akula is in touch with Pawan and his team and has got clear assurance. Akula is planning to join Janasena in the presence of Pawan on 21st January.

Although Akula was in BJP, he had been maintaining cordial relation with Janasena. He had earlier celebrated Pawan Kalyan s birthday on 2nd September in Rajahmundry with fanfare. He may expect MLA ticket from Rajahmundry through Janasena.

Akula had been facing a lot of problems from people, the development of Rajahmundry can t estimate, a lot of problems are still pending as Akula failed to fulfill, the supplying of drinking water or disbursement of pensions to people in his constituency or housing to poor, Akula has failed to produce.

Meanwhile, TDP s Sr leader and Rajahmundry rural MLA Gorantla Butchaiah Chowdary is likely to move to Rajahmundry urban constituency in the coming elections. One has to wait and see, whether Akula would be helpful to Janasena or not.
