Good News To Andhra...Adani Group To Invest in AP

Amaravati, January 10: Amaravati offering to more companies to invest there, in this regard State Government has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Adani Group for the establishment of data center parks in and around Vizag, and a solar power park in the State on Wednesday.

While Adani Group will invest Rs 40,000 crore to support the development of data centers over a period of 20 years, Rs 30,000 crore will be invested in the solar power plant to create over 100,000 jobs.

This ambitious project would be a first-of-its-kind 100% renewable energy powered project in the world, said an official release. It will also be integrated with a cable landing station that will take advantage of the state s long coastline to help provide the needed global connectivity and redundancy that the country needs to manage its exponential growth of data.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu said the State aimed to become one of the top digital destinations in the world. Efficient and eco-friendly Data Centers are the key to enabling this futuristic digital ecosystem, he said.
