Amaravati, January 9: The Assembly elections are nearing in Andhra Pradesh, the politicians are unsatisfied with their parties, the politics in AP is witnessing the politics of quitting and re-joining. A senior BJP leader may quit the party and interested to join in Telugu Desam Party, as per the information, the BJP leader was unhappy with the cadre in the state and is planning to jump ship.

Ch Ramakotaiah, who has been one of the key candidate of the party in the state, has expressed recently his umbrage towards BJP ailing in Andra. Interestingly, he met TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and spoke to him about the issue of temple priests in the state.

In this regard, AP Chief Minister has asked him to play a key role on this issue and prepare a document on how it could be worked out. Clearly, during their discussion, Ramakotaiah was impressed with the TDP Chief s approach to the issue and has decided to join the party.

Political observers naming it as TDP s Operation Kamal against BJP.

Ramakotaiah, who was a strong RSS face from the party, resigned yesterday, following his meeting with the TDP Chief. However, he has still not given any indication of joining the TDP. According to TDP sources, he will soon be part of the party and will also be a key person fighting against the BJP for its injustice to Andhra Pradesh.
