Siddle, Lyon and Khawaja back
Sydney, January 04: Here is the latest news that Australia named their one-day international squad for the three-match ODI series, with veterans like Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon and Usman Khawaja returning.
Coming to details, Australia has decided to rest the trio of Mitch Starc, Josh Hazlewood and Pat Cummins for the ODIs, with the likes of Travis Head, Chris Lynn, D Arcy Short, Ben McDermott, Nathan Coulter-Nile and Ashton Agar all being dropped.
The only players who have survived from Australia s previous ODI squad are skipper Aaron Finch, Alex Carey, Shaun Marsh, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis and Adam Zampa.
"Travis Head, Darcy Short and Chris Lynn have been unlucky to miss out," Hohns added.
"All three have had opportunities to cement their spots, but unfortunately, they have not been as productive as we would have liked in recent times when playing ODI cricket for Australia."
