Jaipur, December 18: While top players like Yuvraj Singh, Brendon McCullum and Martin Guptill found no takers in the first round of the IPL auction here on Today. Last year’s most expensive Indian Jaydev Unadkat was once again snapped up by Rajasthan Royals for whomping Rs 8.40 crore – drop from Rs 11.5 crore the last time around. Also earning a big fat paycheque will be Mumbai allrounder Shivam Dube who was taken by RCB for Rs 5 crore.



Coming to more details, Tamil Nadu mystery spinner Varun Chakravarthy, too without any prior IPL experience, had many takers before KXIP made him the joint most expensive buy at Rs 8.40 crore.

It is known that, The IPL auction is being held in Jaipur over a day with a maximum of 70 slots available to be filled, with 50 of those being for Indian players.
