Fast Bowler Bumrah's deadly bouncer to Harris goes Viral

Perth, December 16: The Indian fast bowler bowled a pinpoint delivery to the Australian opening batsman.

During the third day of the second Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Perth, India fast bowler and death overs specialist Jasprit Bumrah was seen bowling a deadly bouncer to Australia opening batsman Marcus Harris.

It all happened on the penultimate delivery of the eighth over when Harris removed his eyes off a Bumrah delivery. With the ball rising continuously on the batsman, it went on to hit the middle of his helmet. The batsman was seen falling down on the ground after receiving the blow.

Fortunately for him, Harris didn’t get injured. The physio of the Australian team immediately rushed to the ground to check on his opener. It is the process these days that physios take a minor concussion test when the batsman is hit on his head just to make sure that there is no major trouble.

In which was a fierce spell of fast bowling from the Indian fast bowlers, both Ishant Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah made life difficult for the Australian openers. With none of them being successful in dismissing a batsman, it was unfortunate from their perspective.
