Australia Lead By 175 Runs

Perth, December 16: After a magnificent show from skipper Kohli and vice captain Rahane, they would have fancied their chances of getting a lead, but Lyon struck on the fourth ball of the day to dent their hopes. Kohli made an excellent hundred, but Australia kept chipping away with some of shot selection from India being poor. Early wickets is what Kohli would be hoping for to keep India in the game.

Now, Australia are 132/4 at stumps, lead by 175 runs. The umpires call an end to the day’s play 10 mins before the extra half-hour could be completed. Australia seem to be ahead at this point but a couple of wicket for India could change the equation.
