PV Sindhu Makes History

Indian Star shuttler PV Sindhu made it a Super Sunday for Indian sport on 16 December by clinching the BWF World Tour Finals 2018 title at Guangzhou, China.

Coming to detailes, Victory over Nozomi Okuhara made Sindhu the first claimant of the ‘new’ crown (the tournament was earlier held as the BWF Super Series Finals), and also the first Indian badminton player to lift any BWF season-ending prize.

It also ended a lengthy wait to bag a major trophy for one of the most consistent performers in the game over recent years.
