Target is 16 out of 17 seats in Lok Sabha : KTR

Hyderabad, December 15: Telangana Minister K Taraka Rama Rao thanked people for giving a memorable victory for TRS in recent assembly elections.

From this aspect, He told, their next target is winning 16 out of 17 seats in Lok Sabha elections to be held in 2019.

While speaking to the media persons here at Somajiguda press club and thanked people for voting for TRS despite all other parties allying together to fight against TRS.

He told, out of 2 crore votes polled, almost 98 lakhs votes were polled for TRS and BJP, the party ruling at center, lost deposits in 103 seats. He added, Congress also very weak in Telangana now and it lags behind TRS with almost 45 lakh votes. So, neither BJP nor Congress will be able to form governments on their own strength at center after 2019 elections and regional parties will have a bigger say at center after 2019 elections.

KCR told, their next target is to win 16 out of 17 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana in 2019. If we achieve that, we will be able to decide on who will be next PM of the country, he stressed.
