Mohanlal in Aakashavaani ?

Hyderabad, December 15: Tollywood Epic Director SS Rajamouli’s son SS Karthikeya is all set to make his debut as producer with Aakashavaani. Ashwin Gangaraju is making his directorial debut and the first look poster has been out recently and getting lukewarm responce from the fans. The film features no lead actor and Aakashavaani revolves around the lead antagonist.

In this regard, The makers have been in hunt for the right actor and considered Ravishankar for the role initially. The search ended after the whole team felt that Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal will be the right choice for the role.

Aakashavaani is planned on a strict budget of Rs 4 crores but Mohanlal charges a bomb for every film. If Mohanlal plays the lead role, Aakashavaani can get a wide release in Malayalam too and then budget will not be a constraint. If Mohanlal rejects the offer, Karthikeya and his team are in plans to rope in Rajasekhar for the role.

Meanwhile, Karthikeya is getting married early next year and things will be finalized after his wedding.
