Finally Dil Raju Found Hero for '96' Remake

Hyderabad, December 13: We all knew that, Tamil blockbuster 96 created a sensation all over and top producer Dil Raju acquired the remake rights of the film before its release. Dil Raju was asked to dub the film in Telugu but he loved the film and wanted it to remake it for Telugu audience. Prem Kumar will direct the Telugu version too. Dil Raju found it tough to lock the lead actor and a list of young actors have been speculated to play the lead role.

According to the details, Finally, young actor Sharwanand will reprise the role of Vijay Sethupathi in the remake and the actor gave his nod recently. The pre-production of the film is currently on and the regular shoot commences during February 2019. Samantha will play the female lead in the remake and Sri Venkateswara Creations are the producers. The film will hit the screens during Dasara next year.

Names like Allu Arjun, Nani and Gopichand have been speculated for the lead actor and there are talks that Trisha will reprise her role from the original.
