Sonia Gandhi insulted Telangana people: MP Kavitha

Jagtial, Nov 25: Nizamabad MP K.Kavitha on Saturday said that the Congress party leader Sonia Gandhi delivered AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu’s speech instead talking about how they are going to develop the Telangana.

Kavitha said, Sonia Gandhi insulted the people of the Telangana by promising to protect the interest of the Andhra Pradesh state and Mahakutami’s direction was clear with the Congress leaders speeches delivered at Medchal where they were leading towards. she was speaking to media here in Jagitial.

She said there is no meaning if somebody speaking about the people of others states and their problems by standing in another state and questioned why senior Congress leaders Jeevan Reddy and TDP state president L. Ramana had never tried to protect the interest of the Telangana.

She appealed to the people to attend the caretaker Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao’s meeting to be held in Jagtial on November 26. TRS Contesting candidates Koppula Eshwar from Dharmapuri, Ravi Shankar from Choppadandi, Dr Sanjya Kumar from Jagitial and K. Vidyasagar Rao from Korutla were present.
