Sonia Gandhi didn't mention his name why?

Amaravati, Nov 24: Chandrababu is doing things for Rahul Gandhi that Rahul should be doing for himself. The TDP boss is straining his every nerve to strengthen the Congress and rally round all regional parties for Rahul Gandhi. Rahul too is happy at Chandrababu Naidu working on his behalf.

But, it seems Rahul Gandhi s mother Sonia Gandhi still seems to be finding it difficult to trust Chandrababu Naidu. This was clear with Friday s meeting at Medchal. The programme left the TDP leaders surprised as Sonia Gandhi did not take Chandrababu Naidu s name even once. Even Rahul found it not fit to talk about Chandrababu. Both Sonia and Rahul slammed KCR to end but chose, not to talk even a single word in praise of Chandrababu Naidu.

Quite contrary to this, KCR has been targeting only the TDP in his speeches. He is repeatedly saying that Telangana would be losing its self-respect if Chandrababu comes to power riding Congress Party s piggyback.

This is making the voters worry if the Telangana self-respect would be made subservient to the TDP. So, a cagey Congress was careful enough not to make a mention of Chandrababu Naidu. It is still not ready to own up Chandrababu. They perhaps seem to be thinking that open association with Chandrababu might rob them of potential votes.

While on one hand, the TDP is going around the town telling everyone who cares that Sonia Gandhi is giving utmost importance to Chandrababu, what was witnessed at Medchal was quite contrary. The Congress leaders weren t even ready to mention Sonia Gandhi. It appears KCR s tirade against Chandrababu is yielding the desired dividends.
