Rajamouli to direct Super Star Mahesh Babu

Hyderabad, Nov 19: Is Super Star Mahesh Babu‘s Bollywood debut by Rajamouli? Well, Mahesh’ Bollywood debut has been discussed quite some time but this time it will be a reality and yes, it is top-notch filmmaker Rajamouli who will be directing Mahesh’ Bollywood debut. But, this is not Mahesh’ straight Hindi film, but a bilingual one -Telugu-Hindi.

Apparently, Super Star was keen to have Rajamouli after the global success of Baahubali. Now, the Superstar wants the director to have a unique plot that would turn the table akin to Baahuabli, but not on the lines of a fictitious period film. “Mahesh Babu wants Rajamouli to create the kind of cinema that will be a game-changer, just like Baahubali. But he doesn’t want another Baahubali or a costume drama. The two have been throwing ideas at one another and they’ve finally cracked an idea,” a source said.

The source underlined that, Mahesh is not keen about the budget but wants the concept to stand out.

This film will go on floors after Rajamouli completed the current multistarrer #RRR.
