Coined the Tree Topper, the new design incorporates all three of the brand’s sustainable materials—think wool knit, a tree fibre and Sweet Foam, the brand’s revolutionary fabric made from Sugarcane—for a sneaker that feels just as good as it looks. After a total of 13 years with the brand, WWD is reporting that Lanvin men’s designer Lucas Ossendrijver has stepped down from his role at the helm of the French fashion house. With Ossendrijver’s next pre-collection for the brand rumoured to be his last, Lanvin may be left unable to present in January at Paris Fashion Week Men’s.
The publication is also alleging that Bruno Sialelli will take over from Ossendrijver and design both its women’s and men’s collections, however at this stage, neither the brand nor the designer are yet to comment on the departure.
