Overspeed leads to injuries....

KURNOOL December 21 : Road accidents have been increasing now-a-days. Especially school buses are being the major part of those accidents. And a recent survey said that, those accidents all are only due to the negligence of Bus drivers.Recently, we have came across the school bus accident in Kurnool. A school excursion turned into a nightmare for a group of 68 students and 7 teachers from Anantapur district after the private bus in which they were travelling overturned between Perusomula and Reddypalle villages of Sanjamala mandal of Kurnool district on Tuesday. While many of them escaped with minor injuries, 15 students and 2 teachers were hurt severely. And the condition of the few students meant to be critical.The injured have been admitted to government hospital in Koilakuntla. The victims belong to ZP High School at Uddehal village of Bommanahal mandal in Anantapur district. They hired a private buses to visit tourist and religious places in Kurnool district. They were proceeding to Ahobilam when the driver of the bus lost control at a curve. The speeding bus overturned causing injuries to passengers. Locals rushed to the spot and rescued by breaking the window panes, those who were trapped in the bus. Sanjamala police sub-inspector Vijayabhaskar visited the spot and registered a case. Health minister Kamineni Srinivas spoke to senior officials in Kurnool and directed them to provide better medical facilities to the injured.
