Mahesh Babu's event got cancelled

Hyderabad, Oct 24: Mahesh Babu not only impresses with his movies but also never hesitate to participate in charity events. In the same way, he got invited for a fundraising event in the US.

The event named as An Evening with Superstar was supposed to take place in New York City on 27th of this month at Marriott Marquis. This charity event is taking place to raise the funds for Gramam Foundation and Heal a Child foundation.

But the latest reports claim that the event has been cancelled by the organisers due to response. Initially, nearly 100 NRI families have expected the event.

The original ticket price was $ 2000 per person which was later reduced to $1250 because of the less response. The price was further reduced to $450 to attract the audience but none of them showed interest. Seeing the response, the organizers have cancelled the event.

The further details are yet to be revealed. On the film front, Mahesh Babu is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film Maharshi in New York. Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in this Vamsi Paidipally s directorial.
