New Delhi, October 07: Kuldeep Yadav registered his maiden five-wicket haul in Test cricket during the first Test between India and West Indies in Rajkot on Saturday. After West Indies were asked to follow-on by India, Kuldeep dominated the Windies completely.

Ravichandran Ashwin picked the first wicket of the West Indies s second innings in Kraigg Braithwaite. Since then though, it was Kuldeep who took over and absolutely ran through the Windies batting line-up.

Kuldeep also became only the second Asian chinaman after Sri Lankan Lakshan Sandakan to pick a five-wicket haul in the traditional format of the game.

In his fourth over, Shai Hope was Kuldeep s first victim when he trapped him leg before wicket (lbw). Post that Kuldeep hardly let any batsman settle as he sent Shimron Hetmyer, Sunil Ambris, Roston Chase and Kieran Powell home.
