BSNL launches new Rs 448 recharge pack

New Delhi, Feb 28: To take on Jio and Airtel in the Indian telecom sector, state-owned BSNL (Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited) on Tuesday introduced the new Rs. 448 Unlimited prepaid pack that offers unlimited voice calls (local/ STD/ roaming) and 1GB data per day (total 84GB). The plan is available across all BSNL telecom circles in India. Clearly, the BSNL pack aims to compete with Reliance Jio s Rs 449 pack, which offers 1.5GB daily data, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day with a validity of 91 days. The BSNL plan also comes head-to-head with Airtel s Rs 448 pack that offers 1.4GB data per day, unlimited calling, 100 SMS messages per day; all this for a period of 82 days.
