Nalgonda December 5 : Maximum People of Nalgonda District doesn t insist Toilets in their houses. This may leads to different infections & various kind of diseases. Many people are suffering from these kind of health hazards.To avoid this kind of suffocation, Nalgonda District administration is planning to stop supply of ration and pension January 1st to those who do not have individual toilets from January 1st. Joint collector and Nalgonda Muncipality Commissioner In-Charge C.Narayana Reddy gave orders to this effect.The district insist total 40,000 households, Off them Only 5,216 have applied for individual toilets under Prime Minister s Open Defecation Free (ODF) Campaign.* Off 5,216, 621 were rejected for various reasons, * 4,441 applications are being considered and the rest are under Inspection. A total of 1,900 houses have constructed individual toilets and 1,950 toilets are in the second phase of construction. The Center has sanctioned Rs.376 lakh and released Rs.291.9 lakh for the purpose.If the construction of basement and digging for septic tank are complete, Rs.6000 is released and if toilet wall, doors, basins and septic tank connection are cleared another Rs.6000 is released. Construction of toilets have been stopped by a shortage of sand.Assistant Engineers are to check weather all houses in town have toilets. Details of those who do not have toilets will be sent to concerned ration dealer and ration will be stopped. Family pension will also be stopped from January 1. Regarding this kind of issues, previously Modi had several times conducted a campaign about the issue - Compulsory Toilet in a home, in the name of Swacch Bhaarat. Even though not every where, but in most parts of the country, the implementation has been taking place Still - says Analysts.
