India tops in World Women Youth Boxing Championship; 5 gold medals

Women of India has made the country proud at World Women s Youth Boxing Championship with wining 5 gold medals.After Nitu (48kg), Jyoti Gulia (51kg), Sakshi Choudhury (54kg) and Shashi Chopra (57kg) won gold medals in their respective categories at the AIBA World Women s Youth Boxing Championships in Guwahati, Ankushita Boro (64 kg) added one more gold medal to take India s tally to five.Earlier, India has also won two bronze medals.It was the biggest win for India with the country topping the World Women s Youth Boxing Championship.It was Nitu who began the day successfully, she won 5-0 as she qualified for 2018 Youth Olympics.Flyweight boxer Jyoti , surprised her opponent Ekaterina Molchonova of Russia in a 5-0 triumph.Ankushita demolished Russia s Ekaterina Dynnik in a 5-0 victory in the light welterweight final.
