The team has won by an innings and 239 runs SL: 2 Innings :166 allout (49.3 ov) 1 Innings :205-10 Ind: 1 Innings 610/6 dec Indian spinner Ashwin has achieved a record of the fastest player to claim 300 wickets in test matches and he is the second player to take 50 wickets in a calendar year.Indian Bowlers R Ashwin has claimed 4 wickets, Ishant Sharma, Umesh Yadav and r Jadeja have picked 2 wickets each.The bowlers took wickets at regular intervals and didn t allow the batsmen to build a partnership.Earlier India had declared the innings after Rohit Sharma has scored a century and gained a lead of 405 runs.Team captain Kohli has scored a double century yesterday.India has edged to a near victory in the first test but the match was drawn because of bad light. with the victory, India leads 1-0 in test series .
