Soanpapidi Receipe

Hyderabad Nov 19: Currently many people are fond of soanpapidi and it is a sweet which can be prepared at home. The recipe of the sweet is as followsIngredientsGram flour- 1 1/4 cup, Maida Flour-1 1/4 cup, Ghee-250 g, Sugar- 2 1/2 cups Water, Milk -2 tsp, Cardamom crushed -1/2 TspPreparation method# Mix gram flour and Maida flour# Heat the ghee in a pan# Add Flour mixture and roast till golden color is achieved# Prepare sugar syrup by adding sugar to boiling water# Mix the roasted flour in the sugar syrup# Beat the mixture till threadlike flakes appear# Spread the mixture on a greased bowl and roll the mixture# Sprinkle the caradamom seeds and Elaichi and gently press down with palm.# Cool the mixture and cut into squares, wrap individually into square pieces of thin plastic sheet.
