Cab driver commits suicide over Financial crisis

Hyderabad, Nov 9: Here is drastic incident has unveiled while a 23-year-old cab driver allegedly committed suicide by consuming an unknown chemical substance, on the city outskirts on Wednesday.The information reported that, The deceased identified as Sabavath Shiva Naik was a resident of Banjara Colony and native of Narayanpur in Yadadri district.On Wednesday, residents of Pasumamula village informed police that an unknown person was found lying dead in the bushes on the village outskirts.Police shifted the body to Osmania General Hospital for autopsy. Police said Naik was under pressure to repay Rs 3 lakh, which his family had promised to give as compensation after he called off a marriage that was to happen in June."He ran away from home just a week before the marriage and this led to a serious fight between the two families. The girl s parents accepted to cancel the alliance finally after Naik s family agreed to pay Rs 3 lakh," said J Narender Goud, Inspector, Hayathnagar, adding that Wednesday was the deadline to pay the money.Police registered a case under Section 174 of CrPC and investigation is going on.
