Mahabharata shooting at Abu Dhabi?

Kerala June 02: Mahabharata epic is the rich heritage of India. Preparations are going on for bringing this epic on to the silver screen now. Mohan Lal is playing the key role in the film and the filmmakers have announced that they are investing Rs.1000 crore budget. Some people were doubtful even after the announcement was made by filmmakers..they didn t take the announcement seriously. They were of the opinion that once the project is officially launched then it can be taken seriously. Filmmakers are said to be finalizing the shooting schedules for this film. They are going to commence the shoot in Abu Dhabi as per the buzz. One might wonder what Abu Dhabi has got to do with Mahabharata? They have to invest huge money and time for war sequences. Rest of the scenes need huge sets. So, the filmmakers have decided to picture war scenes first. They will shoot Kurukshetra war in the desert.. and they will mix visual effects to the war scenes later.That s the reason why they are planning to commence the shooting in Abu Dhabi. They are planning to release the film in two parts. This movie will release in several Indian languages.
