Qualcomm has introduced a new technique to charge an electric car while it s traveling at highway speeds.The company has named the method as dynamic electric vehicle charging (DEVC). The company has said that this technology is integrated into a specially-built track so that they can the vehicles need not stop at charging stations.Researchers said that this move would help car manufacturers to build more highway tracks and boost the car manufacturer.The main specialty of this technology is that it can charge two vehicles on the same track simultaneously and vehicles can pick up charge while traveling in both forwards and reverse directions.The company said that the technology is under testing and we may soon offer the technology once the complete results are out.Let s hope that the company will soon manufacture electric cars using the technology developed by it.
