Vijayawada Airport has fulfilled all the above criteria so it got International status The main advantages of this decision is* The Connectivity to AP capital Amravati will increase.* More employment to local people.* AP tourism will get a boost.* Passengers will fly at a cheaper rate with increase in the competition of airlines.* Passengers can fly to international countries easily.
