Collector banned machinary to curb the sand Mafia

Kakinada May 02: The East Godavari District collector Kartikeya Mishra had ordered the revenue officials, police, and mining department to implement the ban on the use of machinery in all sand reaches operating in the district. The collector spoke at a district level sand committee meeting in the collectorate court hall here on Monday. The National Green Tribunal guidelines should not be used in Sand Reaches as per the directions of the State Government and the Mandatory Level Task Force teams are required to be implemented in all of the sand recharges of the district, he said.In the same manner, sand loading and reloading of the machines were ordered to be implemented in the first-come-first-serve system.The local governments are considering the loading and transparency management charge for the respective sub-collectors and RDOs. The task force teams, including revenue, police, mining and panchayat staff, ordered the continuous tight surveillance on sand reaches and ordered the illegal mining of sand, he added.At this meeting J.
