Amaravati, April 20: The Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has decided to celebrate his birthday by spending the entire day with people. Naidu turns 67 on April 20.The CM, who had spent his last two birthdays in Vijayawada and Guntur, following pressure from senior leaders and family members, said no to their requests to stay back home and had decided to move among the people. He will leave for Anantapur district for a day-long visit to launch a slew of programs, including the Neeru-Pragati program at Pamidi village in Guntakal assembly constituency."It is a great opportunity for him to be with them on my birthday. God has given me this opportunity to launch a novel program of Neeru-Pragati, aimed at combating water scarcity," said Naidu on Wednesday.
