Rajini says Bharathiraja never liked him

At the grand opening ceremony of Bharathiraja International Institute of Cinema Superstar Rajinikanth s humor-laden speech was well received by those in attendance. He heaped praise on his 16 Vayadhinile director by saying that he was a man of a clean heart and that is why right from MGR to K. Balachander shared a very close relationship with him.Rajinikanth jokingly added that Bharathiraja always used to wonder why people did not accept him as a hero in Kallukkul Eeram but accepted Rajini. He also said that the National Award winning director never accepted him as a good actor.
