RTC losses impact on Common people: Chandrababu

Amaravati, April 14: The Andhra Pradesh chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has paid tribute to the Dr. BR Ambedkar, on the occasion of the 126th birth anniversary at Velagapudi on Friday.The AP govt has decided to set up a huge statue of Ambedkar at Amaravati.The 125 feet Ambedkar statue will be set up at Inavolu in Thullur Mandal, in 20 acres of land and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will lay the foundation stone for the same on Friday.In the meeting, Mr. Naidu had discussed the losses of RTC.If RTC got struck in losses, the impact will be barred by the common people only.The govt has planned to increase the occupancy in seats and also instructed the RTC official to gain the non-ticket revenue.The RTC losses have reached nearly Rs.795 crores till now,he added.
