Salman Khan has surpassed all the other Top Stars of Bollywood in terms of Tax Returns. For the financial year 2016-17, He paid an advance tax of Rs 44.5 crore and claims the Top Spot. This is sharp increase when compared to Rs 32.3 crore he paid in fiscal 2015-16.Akshay Kumar paid Rs 29.5 crore of advance tax for the financial year 2016-17. Whereas, Hrithik Roshan emerges as the third highest tax payer (Rs 25.5 crore) by beating the likes of Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan as well.To everyone s shock, Comedian Kapil Sharma paid Rs 23.9 crore of advance tax last year. Aamir Khan (Rs 14.8 crore) wasn t even anywhere close to him.Among actresses, Deepika Padukone leads with Rs 10.25 crore advance tax. While Alia Bhatt paid Rs 4.33 crore, Kareena shelled out Rs 3.9 crore.Ranbir Kapoor (Rs 16.5 crore) and Karan Johar (Rs 11.7 crore) featured in the Top 10 Highest Tax Payers. Amitabh Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Shahrukh Khan were missing just because their names featured in the Panama Papers.
