Dead body treated for 27 hours

Hyderabad, March 18: In general, The public has treated the doctors as gods because they will cure the many of diseases and they will make the humans alive. But, In serelingampally citizen hospital, doctors are turned into cheaters by treated a dead person for 27 hrs.While coming to details, A family has staged a protest at private citizen hospital and claiming that authorities did not inform about the death of family member for several hours to inflate medical bills on Friday. A man named as N Nagabhushanam, who has suffered from the lung infection, to who was a resident of Boden in Nizamabad. The doctors have suggested his family members take him to the Hyderabad. Hence, They had admitted in private citizen hospital at Sere lingam pally on March 6th.The doctor says that the patient was shifted to Acute Medical Unit (AMU). The hospital informed his family he was getting better. Then on March 14th, they were informed that his condition was deteriorating and finally they informed that he was dead on March 17 , Friday early morning. They were charged about 5 lakh.Saujana who came from USA to visit her ailing father said that hospital management cheated them. "They have a death certificate which says that he died at around 12.30 am on Thursday, but they verbally told us that he died at about 4.30 am in the morning," Soujanya said.However, the hospital denied the charges. "He was diagnosed with severe lung infection and required ventilator support and IV antibiotic. He was undergoing treatment till March 17th morning. The family was aware of the patient s ailing prognosis and were being counseled by the medical team. The hospital billing was generated for the time he was alive," Dr. Ravi Kiran, medical superintendent of the hospital said.Saujana said that" We don t want to insult the hospital management, but hopes that, it will never have happened to anyone", she added.However, the family took his dead body and went to their own village.
