Three year Old killed herself

Hyderabad(Vanasthalipuram), March 13: A three-year-old girl died here in Hyderabad Vanasthalipuram when accidentally setting herself ablaze at her relative's house on Saturday, the police said.

The girl, Hafeezunnisa who lives along with her parents at Vanasthalipuram had come along with her parents to the house of their relative at Rein Bazaar area.

On Saturday afternoon, the girl while playing alone on the roof of the house could have pushed a bottle of kerosene kept in the house. As the kerosene spilled on the floor, she smeared the fluid on her body.

"She could have picked a match box lying nearby and lit it playfully. The spark resulted in a fire and she sustained burns," said sub-inspector Rein Bazaar, Srinivas Reddy.

The family members rushed the girl to Osmania General Hospital where she died while undergoing treatment early on Sunday. The police registered a case and are investigating.
