The secret life in US

Hyderabad March 10: Earlier very Indians show more interest to go the US for studies and for work, but time has changed. Now the US history is like 'Before Trump and after Trump' because we all know the reasons.

Every parent in Indian are worrying about their childrens, who are living in the US, because of serial incidents happing in America.

Life of an H1B visa holder in United States of America isn't as easy as peers think it is back home, and many people don't even share their ordeal with parents in India for the fear of losing respect socially, said Rajesh V. Kuppa, who recently released a book titled The Dark Side of H1B Visa.

In the book, Mr. Kuppa recalled his experiences from being a student visa holder to other stages like the H1B, I-140, and I-485, which finally led him to receive his green card. "I have released the book now given the changes being proposed in the Donald Trump regime and how Indians are reacting to it. It is an honest effort to explain everything in detail and the hardships one goes through in the U.S. during various stages of their life," he said at a press conference here on Thursday.

Mr. Kuppa said the book details how one should be careful when choosing to immigrate to the U.S. It talks about the risks being taken by students spending a huge amount of money for education. Students are under the false impression that the U.S. is an easy place to settle down.

However, many get stuck in the debt trap and are scared to return to India even if they are not able to work on the H1B visa after completing their education and utilising their Optional Practical Training period facing unnecessary hurdles.

One should go only if they can afford the cost of education and don't mind coming back to India rather falling into a trap of becoming an illegal immigrant, the author said.
