Telangana staff in AP Secretariat

Amaravati, March 09: Already we knew that, The First session of Andhra Pradesh Assembly had been started in the new Capital city Amaravati on Monday.Secretariat

The session is for the first time outside Hyderabad after the bifurcation of the erstwhile united AP in 2014.

Employees hailing from Telangana who are working in AP Secretariat requested the Telangana government to take them back into its service from AP. They met at Velagapudi here on Wednesday.

Telangana Employees Association president Srihari asked the TS government to resolve their issue immediately.

He said that they had already submitted their representation to the TS government by providing documents in support of their nativity. He said 886 employees are working in AP services.

Srihari said due to some confusion during state bifurcation and mutual understandings in some departments because of the staff shortage, they were stuck in AP services. He said their family members were in Hyderabad but they were working in AP.
