Nizamabad March 6: A man who unexpectedly involved in a murder case has been got rebirth from his managing director of the employee here on Sunday.

while coming to matter, In spite of being convicted of murder by a court in Saudi Arabia, CH Limbadri managed to reach his native village of Degam in Armoor mandal on Sunday.

Limbadri’s release was secured by the Union and State governments and his Saudi-based employer. Villagers were seen celebrating as the convict reached Degam.

Limbadri had gone to Najran city in Saudi Arabia, back in 1995 and to work as a gardener in the house of one Shaikh Ghain. He was convicted of a murder that took place on June 21, 2007.

When he had been on duty, an 82-year-old person was caught on the premises of the house that Limbadri was guarding.

The elderly man was allegedly attempting a theft and the gardener pushed the elderly man to the ground, killing him. Saudi police arrested Limabdri and a local court gave him capital punishment.

The issue was taken up by the UPA Union government at the time. The district TDP secretary D Yada Goud along with TDP MPs tried to help Limbadri but didn’t get much success.

After BJP-led NDA came to power in Delhi, local TDP and BJP leaders submitted a memorandum to External Affairs minister Sushma Swaraj. Swaraj and PM both requested the Kingdom for his release.

State IT minister KT Rama Rao also tried to help. When the efforts to release were ongoing, Shaikh Jain came forward to pay the blood money to the deceased’s family, an amount equivalent to `1.80 lakhs. The court agreed to release Limbadri.
