Mayawati alleges PM Modi for not keeping his Promises

Uttar Pradesh March 4: Prime Minister Narendra Modi began his election campaign in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi on a roadshow here on Saturday.

In reply, BSP supremo Mayawati Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi for not keeping his promises made to the people during the 2014 Lok Sabha campaign and also said that no amount of prayers would help him this time.



Addressing a rally of party supporters in Rohania here, she also said that Modi, who is the Lok Sabha MP from Varanasi, had lost the support of the people of his constituency and that the large crowd thronging his road show here earlier in the day had been imported

Security has been beefed up in the city and officials of the elite Special Protection Group (SPG) are camped in the city to ensure protection.

The crucial Varanasi region will go to polls in the seventh and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh election on March 8.
