Hyderabad March 01: Versatile actor Kamal Haasan went to England to attend an event which held on February 27.
The actor was nominated to participate in a culture event hosted by England queen Elizabeth-II, along with a delegation on members including Kapil Dev, Manish Malhotra, Suresh Gopi, actor Gurdas Mann and others.
A delegation led by finance minister Arun Jaitley, was there in Buckingham Palace to launch the UK-India Year of Culture-2017. Having got this honorable chance, Kamal thanked Prime Minister Modi for choosing him as one of the members and here's a picture of him shaking hands with Elizabeth-II.
The event was also attended by Prince William and his wife Kate Middleton.
Earlier Queen Elizabeth II was inaugurated Kamal Haasan's dream project 'Marudhanayagam', in October 1997.
