Except Samajwadi Party, I will join any party : Jaya Prada

Shiridi February 28: Expelled Samajwadi Party leader Jayaprada today said she would join any party provided she gets a "respectful invitation"

"Except Samajwadi Party, I will join any party if I am invited with respect," the actress said after paying her obeisance at the Saibaba shrine here.

Attacking the SP, she said women do not get any respect or dignity in the Uttar Pradesh party. "I will never go to SP which has leaders like Azam Khan," she added.

She dubbed "improper" the "donkey" jibe taken by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav at Modi in an election rally recently.

"The donkey comment by Akhilesh is wrong. Modi's decision to demonetise (high value currencies) was right, though people faced problems initially. I am thankful to Modi for this," she said.
