Only 980 members for UPSC EXAM

Delhi, February 27: We knew that, the UPSC(union public service center) Civil Service Exam 2017 notification in Feb22. This exam will be held based on posts of IAS, IPS, IFS etc.

In this year, only 980 officer vacancies will be filled by the Civil Service Exams, it is lowest jobs in the last 5years.

While in the previous years the preliminary exams were held in the month of August, this year the prelims would be in the month of June.

"The final number of vacancies may undergo change after getting firm number of vacancies from cadre controlling authorities. Reservation will be made for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, other backward classes and physically disabled categories in respect of vacancies as may be fixed by the government," the UPSC notification said.
