Government always supports Journalists

Hyderabad, February 22: The Telangana State Press Academy Chief Allam Narayana has been arranged a commemoration meeting of the Sakshi news reporter Mohammad Hussain sharif of Neredmet, who was recently died with a heart attack.

The meeting to be held under the Malkajigiri Press club at vayipuri Sumangali gardens on Monday.

During the meeting, Narayana said that" The Journalists should overcome the stresses of duty assignments to save their health.The Government always endeavours to help the journalists and many welfare schemes also implemented for them.We will provide financial help to the every journalist's families, who are dead during duty assignments."

He also instructed that "All journalists should take the health cards. He promised to the Sharif's family, we can help from press academy and government side also", he added.

The commemoration meeting was attended by the directors of State Journalist Union Kranthi Kiran, Gundu Muthaya Goud, Maruthi Sagar and Malkajigiri Press club president G.Sunil Reddy, Secretary Giri Goud, Greater co-option member Jyothi Goud, Srinivas Goud along with several members of Print and Media.
