Internet, TV and phone facility would be provided to all houses

Amaravthi, February 18: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu hopes to see successor state of Andhra Pradesh as an IT hub soon. The Chief Minister on Friday inaugurated eight IT companies at IT Service Tech Park at Autonagar in Vijayawada on Friday.

Addressing a gathering, the Chief Minister said that nine IT companies started functioning in Visakhapatnam and 20 IT companies are ready to start their operations in Vijayawada.

He said eight IT companies started in Vijayawada under APNRT provide training and jobs to candidates. He invited IT professionals of this region working abroad to set up their companies here.

The Chief Minister said internet, TV and phone facility would be provided to all houses in the state through Fibre Grid.

He said ten lakh set-top boxes were ready so far. The grid would facilitate video conferencing facility. He said the state Govt is ahead in e-governance, e-Technology and all the services would be made online soon.
